The buildings have been largely unchanged since the cannery was in operation and guests are able to tour the original general store, complete with stocked shelves of merchandise left behind or inspect the office and look through original cannery records and newspapers from decades past.

If it is adventure you're seeking, take a stroll along one of our private beaches or watch for salmon and trout in the beautiful stream that flows through the property. Starting in late August you can look forward to seeing hundreds of spawning wild salmon and trout, it is truly a sight to be seen!

For the more ambitious, hike up to what just might be the largest Douglas Fir tree in the Bella Coola area. As we are surrounded by pristine wilderness, guests can look forward to regular sightings of eagles, harbour seals and the occasional wolf, deer or bear. Additionally, bird watchers can be kept busy looking for anything from sandpipers to kingfishers!
